粤农丝苗是广东省农科院水稻研究所近年育成的优质抗病常规水稻新品种。该品种丰产性较好，广东省区试初试和复试平均产量分别为420.72 kg/667 m2、437.82 kg/667 m2，均比对照显著或极显著增产，米质达国标优质2级，高抗稻瘟病、中抗白叶枯病，株型紧凑、抗倒性强、后期熟色好。2011年通过广东省审定，2012-2013年成为广州市主导品种，在广东省累计推广9 200 hm2。

Yuenongsimiao is a new rice variety with good quality and disease resistance, bred by rice research institute of Guangdong academy of agricultural sciences. The yield of Yuenongsimiao in first trial and repeated trial in Guangdong region were 420.72 kg/667 m2 and 437.82 kg/667 m2, significant higher than the control variety. It has the following characteristic: Grain quality of GB-quality 2, high resistance to rice blast, resistance to bacterial blight, compact plant type, lodging resistance, good color in maturity. It was administrated by Guangdong variety approval committee in 2011. It was selected as the leading variety of Guangzhou city in 2012 and 2013, and the leading variety of Guangdong province in 2013.
