楚粳28号系云南省楚雄州农业科学研究推广所育成的水稻新品种，具有高产、优质、抗病、广适性等特点，2008年通过云南省农作物品种审定委员会审定，2012年被国家农业部确认为超级稻品种。本文总结了其选育过程、特征特性及栽培技术要点。

Chujing 28，a new super rice variety with high yield, good grain quality, disease resistance and wide adaptability, was bred by Yunnan Province Chuxiong state agricultural sciences research and promotion institute. It was registered and released for commercial production by Yunnan Provincial crop variety appraisal committee in 2008, and comfirmmed as super rice by Chinese ministry of agriculture in 2012. This paper summarizes the breeding process, main characteristics and cultivation techniques of Chujing 28.
