Qifozhan is a new indica rice variety with temperature sensitive, mid late maturity, good quality, high yield and high blast resistance. It was bred by Foshan Agricultural Research Institute, registered and released by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2012. It is suitable for planting in early and late seasons in Guangdong rice cropping area except northern part.
