Effects of Formula Fertilization on Agronomy and Ecology of Rice in the Central Hubei Province

Abstract

 Multi-sites field experiments were conducted to study the effects of formula fertilizers application on rice yield, nutrient accumulation, fertilizer efficiency and economic benefit under the current production condition. The results showed that compared with the traditional fertilization, the average yield of the treatment with formula fertilizer application could increased by 691 kg/hm2, in spite of increasing fertilizer inputs (N, P2O5, K2O increased by 48, 7.5, 30 kg/hm2, respectively), with accumulation of N, P2O5, K2O increased by 17.3%, 15.1% and 14.4%, respectively. Moreover, the fertilizer contribution rate and agronomy efficiency were increased by 7.8 percentage points and 1.0 kg/kg, respectively, the average net income of the formula fertilization treatment enhanced by 1 257 yuan/hm2.
