Suitable variety, sowing date, sowing rate, seedling age,planting density and nitrogen application methods of machine transplanting conventional early indica rice were studied in the paper. The suitable cultivation techniques are summarized as follows: choosing high yield and middle maturity varieties such as Zhongjiazao 17, Zhongzao 39, Jiayu 253, sowing seed during March 25th to April 1st with the sowing rate 150~175 g per seeding tray, controlling the seedling age about 20 days in density of 30.0 cm×12.4 cm（2.69×105 hills /hm2）, and nitrogen fertilizer applying of basal, tillering, panicle as 5∶4∶1 or 4∶5∶1.
