Grain production bears on the overall strategic interests of national economy and people’s livelihood, economic development and social stability. Over the past 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the agricultural departments of Yongkang City, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, rely on scientific and technological progress to pay close attention to food production, and have achieved remarkable results in the changes of rice variety improvement, yield increase and promotion method innovation.
