Construction and Development Strategies of Modern Rice Breeding Technology Platform: A Case Study of the Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences

摘要:

农业科技平台是农业科技创新体系的核心组成部分,也是支撑农业科技创新、保障科研单位可持续发展的重要载体。本文以广东省农业科学院水稻研究所建设全链条现代水稻育种科技平台为例,系统阐述了从水稻种质资源库、育种条件平台、成果中试基地到成果转化推广平台的全周期构建路径,深入分析了该平台在加速水稻新品种培育、提升科技成果转化效率及推动产业链协同发展等方面的关键效能。同时,针对当前平台建设存在的瓶颈问题,提出了加强现代水稻育种科技平台建设与管理的对策建议,以期为同类水稻科研单位高效推进科技平台建设提供理论参考与实践借鉴。

Abstract:

Agricultural science and technology platforms are a core component of the agricultural science and technology innovation system and serve as crucial carriers for supporting agricultural scientific and technological innovation and ensuring the sustainable development of research institutions. Taking the construction of an all-chain modern rice breeding science and technology platform by the Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences as a case study, this paper systematically elaborates on the full-cycle construction path from the rice germplasm resource bank, breeding condition platform, and achievement pilot base to the achievement transformation and promotion platform. It further analyzes the key effectiveness of this platform in accelerating the breeding of new rice varieties, improving the efficiency of transforming scientific and technological achievements, and promoting the coordinated development of industrial chains. Meanwhile, addressing the bottleneck issues currently existing in platform construction, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the construction and management of modern rice breeding science and technology platforms, with the aim of providing theoretical references and practical insights for similar rice research institutions to efficiently advance the construction of such platforms.
